Sophos

Sophos is a trustless, prediction-based betting platform built for real-time chess matches. By leveraging Vlayer security and Yellow's state channel technology, Sophos removes the need for users to sign every bet on-chain, enabling a smooth, uninterrupted, and bot-resistant experience where skill meets speed and every move matters.

Sophos was built using Yellow Network’s state channel technology (ERC-7824 and Nitro Protocol) for gasless, off-chain betting and Vlayer’s Web Proof system with ZKPs for verifiable, trustless move validation. We pull real-time chess data from the Lichess API, enabling instant predictions. Users sign once via their wallet, then bets are processed off-chain through Yellow Network, with Vlayer ensuring each move is cryptographically verified and recorded on-chain via smart contracts.
